“Salvation belongs to the LORD, Your blessing is upon Your people.”
Salvation from any earthly trials and eternal life is from the Lord only. One has to submit to His ways to receive this.
God’s care and love are not for some select few but for all who seek Him. He does not desire some special qualities, only submission.
