Psalm 16:5
“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.”
A Levite priest in the Promised Land was allotted no land, for God Himself was their portion. David was the youngest in the family with no hope of any inheritance but God being his portion, he is called the ‘man of God’s heart’ and the best king of Israel.
When we repose our trust in Him, the power of his mighty right hand reaches out to empower, guide and lead us to ‘green pastures’.
Seek and test Him for He loves to bless His children.
