“Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Lord Jesus, as the Light and its Source, brings new life that is lived in His strength and guidance. His followers can resist darkness, which brings decay and destruction.
His Word, when studied, meditated upon, and followed, becomes a well within us from which we can draw strength and guidance for living. The struggle of life with evil around us continues, and we stumble, rise, and move on to victory.
The darkness of sin is mighty, and we need the power of God’s light to overcome it.
