“Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.”
When we try and select certain portions of God’s Word to obey, we try to rise above Him. The All-knowing God can either be accepted or rejected, and there is nothing in-between.
The Jewish leaders have listed 613 laws to be followed by everyone, and even to remember all of them is difficult. Our Lord has listed one command: to love one another, just like He has loved us.
