1 CORINTHIANS 13 : 6
“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.”
Godly love desires moral goodness, honesty and righteous living. It finds no joy in sin, gossip or immoral deeds and failings of others.
Such love confronts sin, not to condemn but help turn away from that, rather than ignoring it. Godly love is a choice to live and encourage others to live in obedience to God and His Word.
In this manner we develop a heart aligned with God’s moral values, with no joy in someone else’s downfall!
