ROMANS 4 : 25
“He was delivered over to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.”
When we believe in Lord Jesus, He takes our sins and gives us His righteousness and forgiveness. We can do nothing to earn this but receive it in faith.
Still, many decide to pass on this unbelievable bargain and continue with their efforts to earn this through good works. If it were possible, there would be no reason for the Son of God to suffer and die for us.
