“Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”
When we stop denying our sins and repent, our Lord forgives, and we can get rid of our guilt. Even though our memory keeps dragging up the past, we believe and receive salvation.
Freed in this manner, we start doing good to others not to please God but because He rejoices over us, His children. We draw closer to Him to be filled with His love, to be able to love others.
Our faith may be weak, but we claim the blessings of the truth of the Lord’s Word and enjoy His peace in our hearts!
