Our ego satisfaction comes only through recognition by others of our good works. But human praise has no value in heaven.
God perceives our true intentions and the condition of our hearts in all our actions. He blesses the humble, who glorify Him by helping the suffering.
He recognises and rewards us in His own time, often exceeding our expectations!
