COLOSSIANS 3 : 2
“Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.”
It is possible to set our thoughts and desires on heavenly and eternal matters and not on the worldly. As citizens of heaven, our lives must follow the pattern of the above, even while living here on earth.
God’s view of all things as revealed in His Word must have priority and govern our ways. Materialism, sensuous desires, and empty religionism have no meaning for such living.
As a child of God, it is our responsibility to reflect His ways and values in our daily life and not those of the world!
“Our real home being in heaven, our lives also must follow the ways of God and not of the world.”
