“I cried to the LORD with my voice, and He heard me from His Holy hill. “
God keeps His eye on His children, to help in their troubles, to strengthen and lead in victory. We pray in the secrecy of our ‘closet,’ and He hears and rewards us before all others.
Our trials help us to ‘cry out’ to God in pain and anguish and bring us closer to Him. Our desperate cry moves Him to stretch out His hand to pull us out of the pit.
God knows the language of the heart, and the earnest cry of a repentant soul is always heard. He, as Emmanuel, is with and in us to calm the storms and lead us ashore, to spend eternity in His presence.
