“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
The Saviour Lord knew about the denial of Peter yet encouraged him to draw close to God through prayer. Many believers are keen to follow the Lord but are hindered by the daily burdens they fail to hand over to the Lord.
Our Lord won the battle of the cross through prayer and submission to the Father in heaven. Peter failed like most of us, for he failed to watch and pray. Most battles are won or lost before the enemy is engaged.
Prepare and be ready every moment, for the devil can attack anytime.
