ISAIAH 53 : 10
“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief.”
The sacrifice of Lord Jesus was God’s planned and decreed work for the redemption of mankind. Forgiveness of sin and salvation in this manner brought innumerable spiritual sons and daughters of God.
The outcome and not the sufferings of the Messiah resulted in Divine rejoicing. Both God the Father and the Son suffered the agony, and believers became citizens of heaven.
God’s love was manifested in redemption and not in punishment for our sins!
