GALATIANS 5 : 6
“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”
Our sins are forgiven through faith in the sacrifice of the Son of God, and we worship and love Him for this. The more and deep was the dark stain of our past sins, the more our gratefulness.
Our faith must be visible in our transformation through God’s work in us. Then we can love others, even those who hate and oppose us.
Thus our good works of love for the poor and the suffering become a monitor of our faith!
