“He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on Him.”
The mere touch of Lord Jesus heals the sick, freeing them from their bondage. Apostle Peter’s mother-in-law, after being healed from chronic fever, expressed gratitude by serving Him.
We must come to the Lord not only to receive and keep but also to be a channel for others to receive. We serve God’s purpose for our lives by serving the needy and the suffering, and that too in secret.
Once we start self-promotion, we have already lost our real reward from the Source of all blessings!
