“Jesus answered him,’It is also written, ‘Do not put the LORD your God to the test.’”
Satan wanted Lord Jesus to perform a miraculous deed to prove His identity as the Son of God. We may seek God to do something to prove His love for us or His presence with us.
God wants us to live by faith and not through signs and wonders. Think before praying for something, lest we be trying to manipulate Him and suffer.
God knows all about us and does not need to prove anything to or through us, for anyone to turn to Him!
God responds to the genuine cry of a humble heart, seeking His help and can never be manipulated
