Psalm 119:114
“You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word.”
The focus of the psalmist is on God first, to be able to face any situation. When the enemy is threatening my very being with his evil ways, I am protected by the Lord. It is not to hide only but to renew, reorganize, and move in His power to face and defeat the enemy.
When darkness surrounds me all around I am strengthened by His Word. God gives an abundance of grace to equip us to face all challenges.
We walk protected in His shadow while His Word lights up our paths to glorify Him!
