The rich young man desired salvation with personal efforts or as an inheritance. He recognised the identity of Lord Jesus to show him the right way for salvation.
When our focus is on our own wealth, capabilities and ancestry, these become our god. When the use of everything and every act of daily life is for God’s glory, salvation is assured.
When we realise that we are created for working for His creation, we use our net worth in the right manner as per His plan!
