“To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.”
Our offerings are not bribes to seek the Lord to ignore our character faults. Our whole being, in every aspect of our lives, must honour Him through living righteously.
We are to reflect God’s image as a mirror before others, including our family members, and expensive gifts to God never make up for our wrong deeds. Such life is about commitment and deliberate turning away from temptations.
Our motives for our works are equally important to God, who desires absolute submission to His Word and His ways!
