“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.”
By hearing the Word of God, it is received in the mind, meditated upon, and enters the heart and soul. God’s loving and powerful presence becomes real, bringing profound change.
God’s mercy and grace become more effective, transforming us from within. Reverence for such a loving Father then brings about humility and submission.
Like Job, we seek this final quietness of the soul and surrender to God!
