JOHN 14 : 27
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.”
Our daily struggle lies within us, filled with sinful thoughts and desires, fear, and uncertainty. Lord Jesus, after having faced, without failing, all types of threats, has given us His peace.
This brings comfort in place of conflict, bringing the stillness of the soul in all storms. Worldly peace is based on external circumstances, which keep changing, but ‘Shalom,’ this peace from the Lord, is permanent.
We receive it by trusting God and placing all worries and problems before Him in prayer and being filled with His light!
