LUKE 1 : 31
“You will conceive and give birth to a Son, and you are to call Him Jesus.”
Angel Gabriel brought the blessings of God to Mary for the birth of the Lord. Even His name, which means ‘the LORD saves,’ was decided from above.
Like His namesake Joshua, He led people into freedom from bondage into eternal life. We derive power and authority in His name over all forces of evil.
