“I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His command.”
We love by avoiding prejudice and discrimination, by listening, helping, serving and refusing to judge. Knowing is not enough, for God desires obedience.
Our lives must reflect the character of God in our conduct and behaviour towards the people we meet. Love must accept the old, the poor and the suffering as those deserving more attention.
We enjoy the love of God in our homes in multiple ways, and to receive more, it must overflow to the needy!
