“The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished.”
The might of God is revealed in His patience and not in anger, for in His mercy He provides a chance to repent. His judgement comes at the right time and in the right manner.
If He responds immediately to sin, none of us will survive, and His love delays our punishment for sin. We must thank Him for His slowness in reacting to our ways and helping us to turn to Him.
We may not see His justice prevail in the world, for everyone is focused on his own selves, but it surely comes!
