ISAIAH 53 : 10
“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief.”
Sin caused separation from God through physical and spiritual death. God did not abandon mankind in their sin and provided forgiveness through the sacrifice of His Son on the cross.
Nobody can atone for his sins through charitable good works, and Lord Jesus suffered as our substitute. God the Father was pleased by the restoration of the relationship of mankind with Him in this way.
Salvation is through faith in God’s finished work and is received by submission and surrender!
