1 JOHN 2 : 25
“And this is what He promised us – eternal life.”
The blessing is complete forgiveness of all sins, peace with God and others and being set apart from evil. His presence in us helps us to overcome evil desires and live righteously.
Eternal life is to be in the presence of God in heaven forever, and this is received through faith. This blessed life starts here with His presence, protection and provision, which continues forever.
God has fulfilled His promise on the cross, and everyone has the choice to receive or reject!
“Eternal life starts in this life and continues forever.”
