PSALM 101 : 1
“I will sing of mercy and justice; to You, O LORD, I will sing praises.”
God is love and also just. His mercy forgave our sins, but His justice made His Beloved Son suffer our punishment.
Only in God do the two go together, and the indwelling Holy Spirit equips us to be like the Saviour. He took our sins on Himself and now intercedes for us before God, the Father, in heaven.
We need to forgive and pray for those who hurt us that the light of the Lord shine on them!
