“Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I AM willing, be cleansed’. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
Touching the leper to heal was against Jewish customs, but He loved the leper as much as anyone else. The leper needed a loving and caring touch, for he stayed outside the village, shunned by all.
Our Lord is willing to show His love—to reach out, touch, and pull us out of the hole we have fallen into. Apostle Paul received grace to bear his thorn in the flesh, but the Lord never shuns anyone, even the wicked, when he seeks Him.
Do not hesitate, but open your mouth wide, for He is keen and ready to fill it. Nothing is too hard for the Lord but our own hesitation in asking!
