PSALM 23 : 1
“The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
Mankind is called sheep because they cannot provide for themselves and need a guide to lead them on the right paths. God sent His Son to free us from sin and return to a close relationship with Him.
All our needs are met to enable us to live in gratitude and submission to Him. God also fulfills the desires to make us a blessing to many others.
We, like sheep, must hear the voice of the Shepherd and follow and thus glorify Him!
The LORD, as my Shepherd, protects and provides for me.
