Satan corrupts the mind and thoughts of mankind, feeding them his lies. The sinful nature leads into efforts to enter heaven and God’s presence with our own deeds.
Lord Jesus, through His sacrifice, freed all believers from this, for our charitable works can never compensate for our sins. With this stronghold of the devil destroyed, we are freed to follow God’s Word.
Then, in faith, we help others, for we have been blessed by God and not to earn our way into His presence!
