“He must become greater, I must become less.”
John the Baptist was born to lead the people to the Lamb of God. Humbly, he accepted the greatness of the Messiah and a decreased place for himself.
As we draw closer and are filled with the light of His glory, like Apostle Paul, our achievements seem like dirty rags. He lifts the humble to His right hand, to the place of honour.
Let us submit to look unto Him and be filled with His Shalom!
