1 CORINTHIANS 13 : 13

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
The three pillars of Christian life are faith in God, hope in heavenly life, and love as sacrificial, selfless care for others. The first two are fulfilled when we see God face-to-face, but love continues to eternity.
Faith trusts the unseen, while hope looks to the future, but love is active in the present for the well-being of others. Every other trait and sacrifice is nothing before genuine and unselfish love.
God is love, and without love our life amounts to nothing of lasting value in the world.
“Faith and hope are of the mind and heart but love is active and follows into eternal life.”
