“I know that You are pleased with me, for the enemy does not triumph over me.”
David faced enemies all along his life, yet in faith, he could claim God’s pleasure in him. We are His chosen ones, a royal priesthood and His personal possession.
He never permits anything to afflict us beyond a certain limit, and we emerge stronger. We live victorious in the victory of Lord Jesus on the cross.
Our beneficial works reflect our faith in the goodness and love of God for us!
