LUKE 1 : 68
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come to His people and redeemed them.”
Angel Gabriel had stopped Zachariah, the father of John the Baptist, from speaking until the birth of his son, for doubting. Filled with the Holy Spirit, he thanked God for His mercy and grace.
He praised God and looked forward to Immanuel, the Son of God, being born. God became Man to redeem mankind, and he would witness His presence.
When we doubt, we may speak a lie to stop or delay the blessings from reaching us!
