ISAIAH 64 : 8
“You, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the Potter, we are all the work of Your hand.”
Our existence, the purpose of life and the means of fulfilling it are God-ordained. He, as a loving Father, desires the best for us and moulds and equips us to achieve it.
Due to our sinful nature, we cannot be one with Him and His Word, except through faith in His Son. We surrender ourselves to His mighty hand to guide and strengthen us so that we live according to His plan.
The potter discards the hardened clay, finding it unfit, and we must remain ready for His use and eternal life in Him.
