“Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.”
God created and desires mankind to live by high moral and spiritual values. But those who follow worldly ways, satisfying bodily lusts, displease Him.
The coming of Lord Jesus was and is to give a new beginning through the forgiveness of sins and a clear conscience. There will be failures, but one must repent, learn and move on.
God is not pleased by our great works but through faith in His love, mercy and grace!
God delights in our faithful obedience, not in worldly deeds
