PSALM 29 : 11
“The LORD gives strength to His people, the LORD blesses His people with peace.”
We struggle against the enemy within us, our sinful nature and the forces of evil surrounding us. Both tend to lead us into darkness and away from the truth through various temptations.
First, our God strengthens us to resist the foul designs of the devil and stay on the right path. Second, He fills us with His peace and thus remains focused on His Word and not on the turmoil around us.
God readily reaches out to the ones submitted to Him, ‘His people’, to bless and to face all opposition!
