MATTHEW 13 : 58
“And He did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.”
Lord Jesus healed the lepers and raised the dead back to life, but in His own hometown people could receive few blessings. God readily provides His abundance, but our lack of faith turns us away from that.
Forgiveness of sins and assured entry to heaven are achieved through faith in His sacrifice, not our good deeds. Many people doubt this simple way and continue to reject Him.
God’s blessings are like electricity in the system, they only work when we turn the switch to get the benefit!
