PROVERBS 19 : 17
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.”
God values all of His creation, whatever their status in the world. Helping the poor is to honour both the Creator and His creation.
God blesses the hand that reaches out to the poor as if we had offered it directly to Him. We are blessed to be a channel of the provision and protection of the Good Shepherd towards others.
Our Lord has taught, blessed are the merciful, for they shall see God!
