“When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt.”
The Son of God faced threats from the forces of evil, like all human beings. Joseph obeyed the command and left at night itself to move in secret to ensure protection from Herod’s soldiers.
We are blessed to have God as our Saviour but also as our Good Shepherd, ensuring protection and provision. Lord Jesus was the central figure in that family, and so He must also be in our lives.
God became Man to experience all the pain and suffering that we face and be our true Intercessor in heaven!
