“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.”
Our prayers can be focused on the Lord only when we cut off our dependence on worldly matters. We present our earthly perspective of life to Him to seek reconciliation with the heavenly.
Like a mother, God hears the earnest cry of His children and rushes to comfort. With no distractions, we pray and hear with understanding and peace.
In that stillness of our being, we are then, enveloped by His glorious presence through the Holy Spirit!
