PSALM 142 : 5
“I cry to You, LORD; I say, ‘You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living’.”
We declare our total dependence on God for both protection and provision. Then we receive Him as our portion here and in heaven, where the living are.
The Levites had God as their portion and no share in the land. They received the abundance of everything from the house of God.
When we look unto Lord Jesus, He, as our Good Shepherd, meets all our needs!
