“’Take a guard,’ Pilate answered. ‘Go make the tomb as secure as you know how’.”
The religious leaders believed in His resurrection more than the disciples. The tomb had a large stone covering the entrance, while it was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers.
No earthly barriers could restrain the Son of God from defeating death and coming back to life. With this, God ensured witnesses about the redemption of mankind through Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection.
We study and meditate on His Word and, filled with faith, look forward to our eternal life with Him!
