GENESIS 3 : 15
“He will crush your head, and you will bruise His heel.”
This is the ‘First Gospel’ preached by God Himself to the first sinners and their tempter. The devil will creep from behind, but the Son of God faced Him in the power of the Word.
God became Man to defeat the devil and all his plans by accepting crucifixion and the grave. The immense light of His glory lit up the darkness of hell, defeated death, and destroyed forever the devil’s hold on mankind.
The Son has indeed set us free from all bonds and given eternal life!
