“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am in the midst of them.”
As per the Jewish custom, it is necessary to have ten men, a minyan, to offer prayers. This teaching of the Saviour is a radical change, where family prayers are stressed.
The basic structure of society is a family, and it is parents’ responsibility to teach the Word of God to their children. This is further to the prayers offered alone ‘in the closet.’
God would never desire His children to come in a group to be heard but when and wherever required!
