A believer is in direct conflict with the devil and must always be alert. Redemption means freedom from the control of Satan and into the protection of the Lord.
We must resist him actively with the Word and strength of our faith. Passive way is to debate and hope of escape, which Eve tried.
Be strong in the Lord, rebuke with His authority, and turn to the Master. Make the devil flee in fear and seek some other target!
