“If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Every Jew recites the ‘Shema’ prayer about God at least three times a day. Shema means to listen, understand, and obey.
Hearing is spiritual, and with understanding, the message becomes a part of the listener, transforming him from within. Also, the Word then becomes a powerful ‘Sword of the Spirit’ in our hands to resist and fight the enemy.
The Word of God has the power to bless, but only those who truly believe, receive it. Pray to the Lord to open our spiritual ears fully, to be hearers and doers of the Word.
