“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the One who sustains me.”
In pain and suffering God appears distant and angry. Laying open our hearts and true feelings before Him in prayer helps us leave our worries before Him.
Such submission, while remembering all the abundance of the past, lifts up our soul. God’s help is guaranteed to His children who seek Him.
