“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.”
In our sinful state, our identity was fully merged with the darkness, for so was our conduct. The light of the Lord, our Savior, fills us to separate us to be His own.
In this New Birth, we become the light of the world, which must be visible to others through our conduct. We must become like the moon, reflecting the glory of the Son in us.
The presence of the Lord in us gets mirrored in our love for others despite our own troubles. The more we share His blessings, the more space we create to receive.
