Fear of the Lord is to be satisfied with His plans and provisions, while wealth creates desire to get more. God protects and blesses, but wealth brings jealousy and enmity.
The rich young man was controlled by his riches and failed to follow Lord Jesus. Bartimeous, the blind beggar, discarded his cloak, received his sight, and followed the Lord into Jerusalem.
Our Lord has given His peace to those who believe in Him and are filled with it. Satisfaction with what we have is the right but narrow way!
