Colossians 3 : 17
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Doing something in His name is to work in obedience to His ways and will. The “new man” commits his life, all his life to the Lord.
He perseveres despite the difficulties, for he knows that he is doing it to glorify his Lord.
God the Son prayed to the Father in heaven about glorifying Him in and through His ministry in the earth. We must also thank the Lord for giving us a chance to serve Him and strengthening us to do it”.
